Liverpool and AC Milan have been boosted by the news that Ozan Kabak could be available for just €15million in January, according to Tuttosport [via MilanLive].
The Reds have been constantly linked with the Schalke centre-back in recent months, as Jurgen Klopp tackles a defensive injury crisis.
Joel Matip and Fabinho are the Liverpool manager’s only established options in that area at the moment – even the latter is filling in that role, rather than playing in his preferred midfield berth.
If the Reds are to delve into the transfer market, it could be that Kabak is the cheapest option, following these latest developments.
Milan are also still interested in the 20-year-old, with Schalke reportedly likely to accept a cut-price fee for his services.

These Kabak rumours don’t seem to be going away, but it remains to be seen if Liverpool will make a bid.
Klopp may end up being happy with the options at his disposal, with the likes of Rhys Williams, Nathaniel Phillips and Billy Koumetio having the potential to fill in now and again.
That being said, an injury to Matip or Fabinho before January could make a new addition absolutely essential, with the backup options not experienced enough yet.
Kabak may well be desperate to leave, with Schalke bottom of the Bundesliga table currently and the Turkey international making just five league appearances this season.
