As many as eight Liverpool players could be named in the FIFPRO World XI later this year, summing up what an incredible team Jurgen Klopp has created.
On Thursday, the 55 nominees for the award were revealed, with Reds stars featuring prominently.

In midfield, new man Thiago is included after his Champions League-winning heroics with Bayern Munich, while Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson also makes the list.
There is no place for Roberto Firmino among the attackers, but Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane do feature, alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski.

It has been a special year for Liverpool, with Klopp finally guiding them to Premier League title glory.
It follows on from their Champions League success in 2019, in what is a golden period for the club.
It remains to be seen how many players end up being included in the final XI – the team is announced on December 17th – but the likes of Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Robertson and Thiago arguably look the strongest contenders.
Manuel Neuer, Alphonso Davies, Thomas Muller and Lewandowski could pip their opposing Liverpool stars, following such a strong season with Bayern.
