Many Liverpool fans have been reacting to the latest update involving rumours linking the Reds with a move for Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White.
Having previously been linked with the 23-year-old in the summer, the ongoing injury crisis at Anfield has lead to talk over whether Jurgen Klopp would look to bring in a central defender in January.
After initially casting doubt on the potential for mid-season incomings, journalist Kevin Palmer has now reported that there may have been a change of opinion for the Premier League champions.
The potential shift in transfer policy means Liverpool are prepared to bolster their squad in January and White is one of the players who they want.
The 23-year-old has played in each of Brighton’s Premier League games this season, including the 1-1 draw against the Reds when he was rated at 7.2 by Sofascore.
