Gareth Bale is all but out of Liverpool’s vital Premier League clash with Tottenham, according to Jose Mourinho.
The Reds entertain the north Londoners on Wednesday evening, in what is arguably the biggest game of the season so far.
The two teams are level on points at the top of the table, with Spurs leading the way on goal difference.
Someone who likely won’t be available for the visitors is Bale, with football.london relaying Mourinho’s comments regarding the Welshman on Tuesday:
We still have training session this afternoon. Yesterday he didn’t train with the team. He trained inside, not even outside.
In this moment I’d say not but let’s wait for the feelings and let’s see the training session.

Bale hasn’t managed to make too big an impact for Spurs yet this season, following his return to the club, but there is still no denying that his expected absence is a boost.
The 31-year-old is a proven match-winner with world-class ability, as he showed against Liverpool in the 2018 Champions League final, scoring twice for Real Madrid.
His pace and goal threat off the substitutes’ bench could have been a real weapon for Mourinho’s men, at a point when legs may be tiring and space is opening up on the pitch.
Wednesday’s game does feel huge and the eventual result could easily have a big say on the title race.
