Liverpool forward Liam Millar has joined Charlton Athletic on loan, BBC Sport have confirmed.
The 21-year-old Canadian isn’t part of Jurgen Klopp’s this season, making no appearances in 2020/21 to date.
A move away made sense for Millar and Charlton have snapped him up on a temporary deal for the rest of the season.

This is a move that makes perfect sense for Millar, with senior first team football now vital to him.
He is at an age where he should be looking to settle down at a club, rather than playing for Liverpool’s Under-23s.
Millar has already enjoyed a loan spell at Kilmarnock and he will hopefully kick on again at Charlton, continuing to grow as a player.
In truth, it is hard to see any kind of long-term future for him at Liverpool, such is the world-class competition for places in attack, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota ahead of him in the pecking order, to name just a few.
