Liverpool are interested in making a shock January move for Real Madrid superstar Sergio Ramos, according to El Chiringuito TV.
The Reds are potentially eyeing up defensive reinforcements this month, due to the injuries to Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
Ramos could be looking to leave Madrid in this transfer window, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old has spent 15 years at the Santiago Bernabeu, becoming an all-time club legend in the process, also scoring 103 goals in his club career – a remarkable tally for a defender.
Liverpool are claimed to be a potential suitor for the Spaniard, who famously injured Mohamed Salah in the 2018 Champions League final.

This is a deal that is extremely hard to see happening for so many reasons.
For starters, Ramos’ age means Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards are highly unlikely to want him, instead looking at long-term options instead of short-term fixes.
The centre-back’s history with Liverpool could also throw any potential move into doubt, considering what happened in Kiev and the possible disruption his character could have in the squad.
Ramos can still do a good job at the top level and is a born winner – he has won five La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns at Madrid – but it would be a big shock if he joined the Reds.
