Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Harry Maguire will face Burnley on Tuesday night, despite the risk of him being suspended for the huge upcoming clash with Liverpool.
United head to Turf Moor knowing a point will take them to the top of the Premier League at the Reds’ expense.
With the two bitter rivals meeting at Anfield on Sunday, a win for the Red Devils would only crank up the pressure on Liverpool further.
Maguire is one booking away from missing the weekend game, meaning Solskjaer could choose to rest him at Burnley.
That won’t be the case, however, with the United manager confirming the centre-back would play [via the Liverpool Echo]:
Harry is playing [against Burnley], definitely, that’s for sure.
If he doesn’t wake up ill, you cannot only take three points and not put your eyes on games beyond this one.

Sunday’s game promises to be arguably the biggest of the season so far, with so much resting on it.
Maguire is going to be a key performer for United, in a game that could see Liverpool dominate possession.
The England international’s lack of pace can be targeted, however, so Mohamed Salah should be trying to take advantage of it in the spaces between him and Luke Shaw.
Maguire has been improved after a tough start to the season, however, so him missing out through suspension would be a bonus for Liverpool.
