A number of Liverpool supporters have been reacting to the news that Joel Matip could possibly be available for Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.
The Reds face an enormous Premier League game this weekend, as they look to return to the top of the table.
United currently hold a three-point advantage over Liverpool after 17 games, in what looks set to be a tight title race also involving Man City and possibly others, too.
Jurgen Klopp has continually had to tackle defensive issues this season, with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez both out for many months with serious knee issues.
Matip has also been constantly in and out of Liverpool’s team, starting just seven league games so far this season.
The 29-year-old is a big doubt for the United match, but in his press conference on Friday, Klopp failed to rule him out.

He's close… does it make sense to throw him in? I don't know, we have to look at him in training.

Going by Klopps press conference. It sounds like Matip will trains couple of times at least this week. Then it’s whether he will come through. Fingers crossed.
