Not many signings have had an impact on Liverpool Football Club close to the one James Milner has managed – even fewer free signings have had nearly as much of an impact as the 35-year-old.
When Milner arrived in June 2015 after his contract at Manchester City expired, nobody could have predicted he would go on to achieve such riches with the Reds and inspire so many performances.
