There is “no chance” that Erling Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft on Twitter.
The 20-year-old is one of the most exciting players in the world at the moment, scoring 35 goals in the same number of appearances for the Bundesliga side.
Liverpool are one of a host of clubs believed to be interested in signing Haaland, with a summer move mooted.
Fjortoft claims that the Norwegian will be going nowhere at the end of the season, however, with age still very much on his side and, therefore, no rush to leave Dortmund.

Should this update be correct, it acts as a potential big blow to Liverpool, who could be eyeing up a high-profile addition.
With Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino just showing a few signs of struggling, it could be that a fresh superstar needs to come in.
Firmino, in particular, has been below par for extended periods in the last 12 months and Haaland’s ruthless finishing would be an upgrade in that area.
That’s not to write off the front-three – far from it – but as they all approach 30, Jurgen Klopp can’t allow them to slowly drift past their peak without replacing them in the long-term.
