Liverpool and Real Madrid remain the two clubs ‘best placed’ to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer, according to AS [via Sport Witness].
The £162million-rated Frenchman could leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, although the Ligue 1 champions are keen to retain his services.
Mbappe has been continually linked with both Liverpool and Madrid and they still both look his most likely next destination, should he move on.
It is noted that the 22-year-old has been ‘rejecting renewal offers for two years’ at PSG, as he continues to keep his options open.

With every report that emerges, the more it does look as though Liverpool’s interest in Mbappe is genuine.
The France international could be a sensational addition to the Reds’ attack, although his likely vast transfer fee could mean having to sell one of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Given the financial situation at Anfield, it is hard to picture Mbappe, Salah, Mane and Roberto Firmino all at the club, which makes it a potentially tricky situation.
There is no doubt that Mbappe could be revelation for Liverpool, though, having scored 107 goals in 149 appearances for PSG, not to mention chipping in with 59 assists, too.
