Some Liverpool fans have been reacting to footage of Jordan Henderson berating Thiago during Saturday’s 3-1 defeat away to Leicester City.
The Premier League champions’ current woes continued at the King Power Stadium, as their hopes of a top-four finish took a severe hit, let alone their non-existent title chances.
Despite Mohamed Salah opening the scoring with a wonderful goal, Liverpool fell to pieces in the final 20 minutes. James Maddison, Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes all scored for Leicester, with VAR controversy and more defensive errors thrown in.
Thiago’s reckless foul saw him concede the free-kick that allowed Maddison to equalise, in a moment that turned the game on it head.
Someone who clearly wasn’t happy about the Spaniard’s recklessness was Henderson, who was seen giving him a grilling in the moments after the incident.
