A number of Liverpool fans have been reacting in delighted fashion to the news that Diogo Jota will return to full training this week.
The Reds find themselves in a dire situation as present, losing four Premier League games in a row, as well as their last four at Anfield.
Saturday’s 2-0 loss at the hands of Everton was arguably the champions’ lowest ebb yet, with the performances flat from the moment the game kicked off.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been ravaged by injuries throughout the campaign, with a fitness crisis taking place at centre-back.
Jota has been an enormous miss in his own right, however, having scored nine goals in his first 17 appearances for the Reds.
The 24-year-old hasn’t played for Liverpool since the start of December because of a knee injury, but his return now appears to be imminent.
The Telegraph‘s Chris Bascombe saying he will be back in training this week, ahead of Sunday’s trip to Sheffield United.
These Reds supporters have been reacting to the news on Twitter.
