A number of Liverpool fans have shown their appreciation for Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea, following a heartfelt message he sent to Alisson on Twitter.
The Reds goalkeeper sadly lost his father Jose Becker on Thursday, with the 57-year-old tragically drowning in Brazil.
It is a devastating moment for Alisson, who will no doubt be heartbroken by an incredibly sad tragedy.
Jurgen Klopp is sure to give the 28-year-old any time off he needs, should the Brazil international require it.
The rivalry between Liverpool and United remains one of the fiercest in world football, but there is still great respect between the two clubs.
On Thursday, De Gea outlined that, taking to Twitter to show his support for his fellow ‘keeper, saying ‘we are all with you’.
