Losing Salah this summer would be an almighty blow, with the forward scoring a stunning 118 goals in 187 appearances for the Reds.
This season has only further highlighted his importance to the cause, with Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino struggling but Liverpool’s No.11 still thriving, despite the Reds’ woes.
At 28, he still has several years at the very top, so Jurgen Klopp must do all he can in nailing him down to a new deal, keeping him on Merseyside for a long time still.
