Erling Haaland would be keen on playing for Liverpool, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
The Borussia Dortmund striker is arguably the most exciting young player in the world at the moment, having scored 43 goals in just 44 appearances for the Bundesliga giants.
Liverpool have been one of the clubs linked with an audacious move for Haaland, although there is little indication that he will leave Dortmund this summer.
Speaking about the Norwegian’s future, with quotes provided by HITC, Sheth claimed he would be interested in playing under Jurgen Klopp:
There’s Liverpool. They haven’t been shy in spending in the past – they spent a combined £150m on a defender and goalkeeper in Van Dijk and Alisson – and I’m not sure we realise just how big a name Jurgen Klopp still is in Dortmund, and how that might have an impact.
Could he come in and replace Roberto Firmino? I don’t think it’s an impossibility, but this will come down to finances and the desire to sign Haaland because I actually think he’d want to play for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.
In short, every team has their little advantage in this race.

Haaland looks a footballer of outrageous potential, already scoring at a freakish rate, despite still only being 20 years of age.
Whoever signs him next could well be acquiring the services of a true generational talent, highlighting why Liverpool’s rumoured interest is so exciting.
Haaland will cost a enormous amount of money, however, which acts as an immediate stumbling block, with someone like Manchester City in a stronger position financially.
The Dortmund superstar would freshen up a Liverpool attack that has struggled at times this season, though, also representing a long-term addition.
