A number of Liverpool fans have been reacting in delighted fashion to rumours linking the Reds with a move for Houssem Aouar.
Jurgen Klopp may be eyeing up summer reinforcements in the middle of the park, especially with Gini Wijnaldum’s future up in the air.
The Dutchman is yet to sign a new deal at Liverpool and there is no indication that that will change.
On top of that, James Milner and Jordan Henderson are now in their 30s, while Thiago hits that milestone next month, highlighting the need for bringing in new faces and ensuring the midfield doesn’t grow stagnant.
According to Goal‘s Neil Jones, the Reds are interested in signing Aouar, with Brighton star Yves Bissouma also a reported target.
The Lyon star is a hugely exciting creative player with five goals and three assists in the Ligue 1 this season, also winning one cap for France to date.
