Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher featured on last nights addition of Monday Night Football on Sky Sports.
The pundit and his co-hosts David Jones and Kevin Campbell had plenty to discuss ahead of Brighton vs Everton.
This included the possible future of Brighton’s star midfielder Yves Bissouma, who has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a Man of the Match performance last night against the Toffees.
This led to Carragher discussing his future after the game, with the 43-year-old suggesting that clubs wont just be looking at Bissouma in the summer, they’ll be bidding for him…
“The biggest talking point or bright spark from the game was the performance of Bissouma, who was the man of the match but not just the best player on the pitch, the best player by a mile on the pitch, he really was.”
“He’s been someone a lot of teams have talked about or looked at. I don’t think teams will be looking at him, I think they will be bidding for him at the end of the season.”.

The Malian midfielder is currently valued at £15.30million according to Transfermarkt.
The likelihood of Liverpool signing the player isn’t as alien as some fans may feel.
Dutch midfielder Gini Wijnaldum’s doubt over his future has led to a number of midfielders being linked with a move to the club.

If the 30-year-old were to leave in the summer, then Bissouma certainly looks like a suitable replacement.
The midfielder has been one of Brighton’s best performers in the Premier League this season according to WhoScored.
I think that if Jurgen Klopp were to make a move for Bissouma, he could grow to become one of the best midfielders in the league.
