Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott has been nominated for the English Football League Young Player of the Season award for 2020/21.
The 18-year-old has earned the nomination for his performances whilst on loan at Championship side Blackburn Rovers, impressing throughout the campaign.
Elliott has contributed six goals and 12 assists in 42 games in all competitions this season – leaving the gifted winger second in the assist chart behind highly-rated Argentine Emi Buendia.
The Reds loanee is joined on the three-person Championship based shortlist by Michael Olise (Reading) and Max Aarons (Norwich City).
The nomination was confirmed on Rovers’ official Twitter account and Kopites soon got wind of the news.

Liverpool can be both immensely proud and excited over what their wonderkid has achieved this term.
Jurgen Klopp may look to integrate the teenager into his squad for next season as the Reds look to fight back from what has thus far been a disappointing campaign.
Elliott has more than held his own in a league that can be unforgiving and will be desperate to further prove he is worth a place in Klopp’s plans at Anfield during pre-season.
