Liverpool trio Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen have received nominations to be among the next players inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
The ex-Reds feature on an illustrious 23-man list, as supporters are asked to vote for who should join Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry as the first batch of ex-players to be honoured.
Liverpool congratulated the trio for their nominations on the club’s official Twitter account.

Gerrard is perhaps the frontrunner from the Reds involved to make the cut, making 504 appearances across 17 Premer League campaigns, scoring 120 goals, albeit without ever managing to lift the title.
Owen made 297 appearances for Liverpool, scoring a remarkable 158 goals and earned a Ballon d’Or along the way.
Born in Toxteth, the man affectionately known as ‘God’, Fowler, had two spells on Merseyside, amassing 369 appearances and netting 183 goals in total.

Both Gerrard and Fowler are hailed as Anfield icons having enjoyed long and glittering careers on Merseyside.
Owen meanwhile is a rather more tainted figure amongst Kopites, having left the club as a youngster having become the youngest player to reach 100 English top-flight goals.
If deserting the club with the world at his feet to head for Real Madrid wasn’t bad enough, the Chester-born striker signed for Manchester United later in his career.
