Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has named Mohamed Salah at the ‘top’ of the list in terms of signings made during his career.
This comes after the Egyptian rounded off the scoring as the Reds overcame arch-rivals Manchester United 4-2 on Thursday night at Old Trafford.
That goal saw Salah net his 124th for the club on his 200th appearance – truly remarkable numbers from the 28-year-old.
Speaking in the aftermath of the crucial victory and ahead of a trip to West Brom, the German boss was asked where Salah ranks among the players he has signed, as cited by The Anfield Talk on Twitter.

The 69-cap Egyptian was signed in 2017 from Serie A side AS Roma for £34million (BBC).
This season Salah has continued to lead the way at Anfield despite struggles across the board, scoring 30 goals in all competitions – including 21 in the Premier League.

Topping a list made up of players such as Virgil van Dijk, Robert Lewandowski, Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is no mean feat.
But if anyone could do it, it’s the Liverpool incarnation of Salah.
Having struggled in his first spell in England with Chelsea, the ‘Egyptian King’ has become a genuine world superstar since arriving at Anfield.
Given the difficulties this season as thrown at Klopp, were Salah and co to fire the Reds to a top-four finish it would have to go down as one of the best achievements in the German’s reign.
