There has been plenty of talent that has graduated from the Liverpool academy over the years.
One of those is current defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has taken the sport by storm.
In just five seasons since being promoted to the first-team squad, Trent has become one of the most valuable players in the world.
The youngster has become a stalemate in Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI.
Speaking on the BBC, former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy was full of praise for the 22-year-old.
His recent performances has really stepped up a notch and the defender is knocking on the door for the Euros squad.
Murphy described Trent as a ‘wonderful talent’…
Trent has previously been left out of England’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers in March.
It had even been revealed by The Athletic’s David Ornstein that Southgate was still not thinking of taking Trent to the Euros.
However, Murphy clearly feels very differently to the England manager.
The former midfielder believes Trent is a must for the Euro’s next month given his game winning ability.
He isn’t wrong either, Trent has one of the best deliveries and passing abilities in the league.
If Southgate were to leave him out of his squad then he would be making a huge mistake.
Not having a player with Trent’s ability in your team already puts you at a disadvantage.
