Remarkably, one man who could fit the bill is Barcelona superstar Antoine Griezmann, who according to a report from El Gol Digital, as cited by the Liverpool Echo on Twitter, could be available for €50m (£43m) this summer.

According to the report, the Catalan club could be tempted into parting ways with the Frenchman due to a crippling financial situation at the Camp Nou.
Signed for £107m in 2019 (BBC), accepting bids for the mooted fee would represent an eye-watering loss for the La Liga giants.
This season the 89-cap 30-year-old has scored 20 goals and registered 12 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.

Hailed as ‘one of the best’ by Lionel Messi, Griezmann certainly has no shortage of ability.
However, despite all the obvious positives in signing a world superstar, at 30 and with likely astronomical wage demands, Liverpool would perhaps be best suited to look elsewhere.
The likes of Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe are all next generational talents who have at least a decade left at the elite level.
Although £43m would be somewhat of a bargain for the Frenchman, in terms of longevity there are better options.
