Liverpool are likely to be on the lookout for a Gini Wijnaldum replacement this summer after the Dutchman left the club as a free agent.
One man tentatively linked with the role is an international teammate of Wijnaldum, Ryan Gravenberch.
The Reds are believed to be among a host of admirers of the 19-year-old Ajax midfielder and the Anfield club could make their interest known in the future.
According to a report from Goal, as cited by The Anfield Buzz on Twitter, Gravenberch is the ‘most intriguing player’ on the midfield shortlist.

The report notes that whilst nothing concrete is in place right now, the seven-cap starlet is on the Anfield radar.
Gravenberh enjoyed a stellar 2020/21 campaign despite his tender age, scoring five and registering six assists in 47 appearances across all competitions.
Described as the ‘greatest talent’ in the Netherlands by former Ajax forward Wim Kieft, the all-action midfielder has certainly made an impression in a fledgeling carer.

Valued at £29.7million and under contract until 2023 (Transfermarkt), signing the Dutch youngster would represent a large layout for the club.
However, whilst the other names mentioned are immensely talented, at just 19 Gravenberg has the potential to be a star for many years to come.
