Liverpool have been linked with a number of attacking stars this summer ahead of next season.
The Reds are in need of further talent upfront to relieve the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané.
The pair are often at the forefront of Liverpool’s goalscoring exploits, playing almost every game.
However, it is a lot to ask each season, with the club seeking to improve their quality off of the bench.
One player that the club has been linked with a move for is Wolves winger Adama Traoré.
The Spaniard has been subject of interest from Liverpool for the last few seasons following his impressive displays.
Liverpool had reportedly been plotting to swoop for the winger, with Football Insider now reporting a further update.
According to their report, the Reds are only willing to pay as much as £25million for the 25-year-old.
This is half of the supposed asking price/valuation set by Wolves of around £50million according to the report.
There is no denying that Traoré is an extremely talented player and it is understandable for the club to be interested.
One thing that is good is that the club is sticking to its stance of £25million.
With the club already operating on limited finances, it is key to ensure that they stick to the budget no matter what.
Wolves will not likely sway away from their £50million valuation, meaning a move for Traoré will be difficult.
This summer saw the winger on duty with Spain at Euro 2020 but made just one appearance against Slovakia.
Given his lack of game time, the Reds failed to get a further look at the winger away from Wolves.
Hopefully, his form will improve this season if the club decides to hold off on their interest for now and wait until next summer.
