Liverpool have today returned to pre-season training as Jurgen Klopp prepares to mount a challenge for major honours once again.
Following a season off from the high-standards set since the German manager took the helm at Anfield, the Reds will be striving for glory once again in 2021/22.
With that in mind, the majority of the squad are expected to attend a training camp in Austria over the next three weeks.
An image posted by the club’s official Twitter account shows Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Kostas Tsimikas and Trent Alexander-Arnold already in situ and at work as the quartet await the arrival of their teammates.

Shortly after, the official website released the confirmed fixture plans as the Reds build-up towards an August 14 start away at Norwich City in the Premier League.
Klopp’s side will kickstart preparations with two yhirty-minute mini-games against FC Wacker Innsbruck and VfB Stuttgart before taking on German Bundesliga duo FSV Mainz 05 and Hertha BSC.

What a joy to behold, with a view to match.
Whilst many Kopites will be delighted to see the return of Alexander-Arnold in particular after the star was injured on international duty, there are others that may be considered a higher priority.
Central defensive trio Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip were all named in the squad to travel to Austria and are likely to join up in the coming days.
The arrival and subsequent first glimpse of Ibrahima Konate is another one to relish for fans.
