Liverpool target Saul Niguez is believed to be waiting on offers from the Premier League this summer.
The 26-year-old Spaniard has emerged as an apparent top target for the Reds in recent days and speculation over the move was tantamount.
However, all bets seemed to be off for a period as Barcelona offered Atletico Madrid to re-sign Antoine Griezmann in exchange for Saul and cash.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto on Twitter, any deal with the La Liga rivals is not imminent and instead those associated with the player are waiting for English interest.

Previously Fabrizio Romano has suggested Liverpool are one of the clubs in waiting for the midfielder.
Furthermore, Spanish outlet El Desmarque, have reported Saul responding to fans asking why a departure was on the cards by stating ‘they’re kicking me out’.
Last season the 19-cap Spain ace made 41 appearances across all competitions as Atletico lifted the La Liga title.

Valued at £36million and under contract until 2026 at the Wanda Metropolitan (Transfermarkt), the mooted £43million asking price represents superb value for money.
Vastly experienced and incredibly versatile, Saul would be the ideal midfield addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad this summer.
Predominantly an out and out central midfielder, the Spaniard is also capable of playing in more advanced and defensive roles as well as on either wing if required.
This is a player Liverpool should be all over and perhaps making the entourage wait no more would be a wise move.
