Liverpool are reportedly monitoring AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie as the ace attempts to agree on a new contract in Italy.
The 24-year-old’s representatives are set to meet with Milan in order to discuss a potential new deal after entering the final 12 months of an existing contract.
Kessie is currently away with the Ivory Coast at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and scored the winner for the nation in a 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia.
According to a report from Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by Get Italian Football News on Twitter, the Reds could look to land the ace in the near future.

Valued at an eye-watering £49.5million (Transfermarkt), never has there been a more opportune moment to strike whilst a contract dwindles.
Credited with expert passing and concentration skills, the Milan star has recently added more attacking prowess to a well-rounded game.
Also boasting an ultra-impressive injury record, Kessie could be the ideal Gini Wijnaldum replacement.
Liverpool would be wise to monitor contract negotiations and perhaps swoop at the earliest available opportunity.
