Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is believed to be actively looking to bolster the attacking options within the Anfield squad this summer.
Despite rallying to finish third in the Premier League amidst a plethora of injuries, the Reds struggled in front of goal all too often during the 2020/21 campaign.
Aside from the impact made by Diogo Jota and the continued fine form of Mohamed Salah – Liverpool’s forwards struggled to find their peak form.
One recognised striker linked with a switch to Merseyside is Fiorentina ace Dusan Vlahovic.
The 6’3 Serbian has shown the Reds and any other potential suitors that they would be landing a ruthless goal getter by netting a remarkable seven goals in 45 minutes against Polisportiva C4.

Last season the breakthrough 21-year-old scored 21 and registered two assists in 37 Serie A appearances.
Capped seven times at senior level by Serbia, Italian football expert Conor Clancy once hailed Vlahovic as ‘incredible’.

Valued at £36million and under contract in Florence until 2023 (Transfermarkt), Liverpool would surely back their chances of making a deal happen, albeit for big money.
Signing a powerful centre-forward may seem somewhat of a removal from Klopp’s current style, but Vlahovic has the technical ability to fit into any system.
Still raw but with all the tools necessary, the Serb is unsurprisingly prominent aerially and as a finisher, potentially able to offer more weapons to Liverpool in an attacking sense and the ideal man to fill Divock Origi’s squad role.
The Reds would be wise to act fast before any more goal gluts add further millions to a price tag.
