According to Portuguese outlet Correio da Manhã, Lille could sell Renato Sanches for just £30million.
The Reds have been linked with the 23-year-old midfielder throughout the summer.
Sanches enjoyed a tremendous season with LOSC Lille in Ligue 1, winning the league title ahead of PSG.
As well as this, he was impressive throughout the Euro 2020 tournament for his native Portugal.
With that comes the obvious links between the club and player, with the club searching for a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum.
However, the club will face competition for the midfielder, with Serie A club Juventus also in the running…
As cited by LFC Transfer Room above, the club could be in good stead to secure Sanches this summer.
Liverpool’s squad has returned to full fitness and have looked impressive at times during pre-season.
However, the inevitable void left by Wijnaldum is something that is yet to be addressed by the club.
Jurgen Klopp has recently hinted that there is still a possibility the club will dip into the transfer market.
Yesterday saw the Reds linked with a move for Sanches for around the £40million mark, despite these recent reports.
With just three weeks left until the window closes, there is little time for the Reds to bring in a replacement.
Hopefully, the club will address any issues soon so they can head into the season with the utmost confidence.
