Liverpool have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the start of the new Premier League campaign this weekend.
The Reds were decimated by injury last term and manager Jurgen Klopp will be hoping for fewer problems during the 2021/22 season.
Things for off to a bad start over the weekend when Andy Robertson went down with what looked to be a badly twisted ankle.
The following day young midfielder Curtis Jones was forced off against Osasuna before the half-hour mark after taking two knocks in quick succession.
However, both players took to social media to deliver optimistic updates as Klopp confirmed Robertson would likely be a matter of weeks and not months.

Meanwhile, Jones posted on Instagram saying ‘All good, I’ll be back’ as Kopites worried over two of their star names.
After the impressive 3-1 victory over their La Liga visitors on Monday, Klopp told LFCTV: “I think we got lucky with that (Robertson), it could have been much worse. The footage didn’t look too well, got lucky but it won’t be too long. Before or after the international break, I don’t know. Not too long.”

Following the turmoil of last season, Liverpool fans will be thankful for even the slightest bit of luck when it comes to injury timeframe.
Robertson’s absence will likely hand an opportunity to Kostas Tsimikas after the Greece international starred during pre-season.
Academy prospect Jones could be fit for the trip to Norwich City but if not midfield spots will likely be taken by Fabinho, Naby Keita and James Milner.
