Liverpool experience ‘unprecedented demand’ for new Nike 2021/22 Away Kit

This season will see Liverpool sport their second year with Nike as their kit manufacturer.

The Reds departed New Balance in 2020 following their Premier League-winning campaign.

This then led to the club agreeing with a deal with American manufacturer Nike, who are into their second term.

So far, we have seen the club home and away kits released for the upcoming season, with both proving popular.

However, it appears to be the away kit that is proving the most, with the kit already sold out at Nike and other outlets.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the club have experienced ‘unprecedented demand’ for the away kit…

As cited by Anfield Watch above, the club are in desperate need of more stock of the away kit.

Anfield Watch also relays the fact that the fans won’t see more stock of the away kit until September.

It is great to see the fans enjoying the creativeness and vision of our new manufacturer after some great New Balance kits.

Nike have done a great job so far and are clearly producing some popular strips.

The away kit was released back at the start of July and featured some great aspects to do with the club and city.

With a stone base and collar with a colour palette offering a nod to the clubs infamous green away kits.

Hopefully, the club and Nike will stock up in September so more fans can get their hands on the strip.
