Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has taken to social media to welcome in the new Premier League season.
The 27-year-old star has enjoyed a superb pre-season campaign for the Reds and manager Jurgen Klopp has recently spoken of the importance of getting a full preparations period in this time around.
Following a run of injury affected campaigns, Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to be ready and raring to go as Klopp’s side head to Norwich City on Saturday.

Last season was another hit be setbacks for the 35 times capped England man made 17 appearances across all competitions having missed the opening 20 games with a knee injury.
Previously hailed as a ‘dynamite’ option by Klopp, the ace signed from Arsenal for £35million in 2017 (BBC) will be hoping to repay some of the faith shown in him.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is another player potentially facing a make or break season at Liverpool – along with Naby Keita.
Whilst injuries are often unfortunate, ultimately the club has persevered with both players through regular issues for too long now.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has looked sharp during pre-season and added versatility with roles as a false nine in lieu of Roberto Firmino.
Capable of operating from numerous midfield positions as well as across the frontline, it’s understandable Klopp would want to keep the £16.2million valued star as part of the squad.
