Former Premier League striker Ian Wright believes Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma is the ideal man for Liverpool.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the Mali international following the departure of Gini Wijnaldum this summer.
Also linked with a switch to Arsenal, the 24-year-old is hot property following a string of impressive Premier League campaigns.
Speaking on Wrighty’s House Podcast, the ex-Gunner claimed combative ace would be perfect for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Yves Bissouma at Brighton for me, he’s sensational. You watch him this week and his numbers, he had eight ball recoveries, two take-ons, five out of six tackles, five interceptions. Watch his highlights, he’s an exceptional six, an exceptional eight and an exceptional 10. He does all of those roles. He is absolutely brilliant. I feel he is tailor-made for Liverpool. What they wanted from Naby Keita is exactly what Bissouma can do for them. If they can get him, it goes again for Liverpool.
Last season, Bissouma earned an outstanding 7.07 average Sofascore rating from 36 league outings.

Signing a Wijnaldum replacement seemed a priority earlier in the summer.
However, the return of Harvey Elliott and promising pre-seasons of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have meant the club are yet to act on sourcing a successor.
Were that stance to alter, Bissouma looks purpose build for the role.
Possessing superb tackling, dribbling and ball interception attributes (WhoScored), the Mali star also matches Wijnaldum when it comes to availability.
Valued at £22.5million and under contract on the South Coast until 2023 (Transfermarkt), there is little doubt Bissouma will remain on the radar.
