Amidst a quiet summer transfer window, Liverpool have been tying down the long-term futures of many key names at Anfield.
Having already confirmed new deals for Andy Robertson, Fabinho, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker and Trent Alexander-Arnold, captain Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah could be the next in line.
On Monday it was reported that sporting director and negotiator in chief Michael Edwards could leave the club as soon as next summer in search of pastures new.
Now, a fresh report from The Athletic, as cited by James Pearce on Twitter has claimed Jurgen Klopp has a 2024 departure in mind.

Klopp signed a new deal in 2019 and the report claims the German manager will take a ‘sabbatical when that deal expires’ – ending an eight-year spell with the Reds.
So far during a successful Anfield tenure, the 54-year-old has lifted the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup as well as being named the World’s Best Club Coach on two occasions.

Tears will be shed when Klopp waves goodbye to the Kop for the final time, of that there is no doubt.
The likeable coach has brought unbridled joy to the Red half of Merseyside since arriving, along with previously inconceivable success in the modern era.
But, all great things must come to an end and the club should be well versed in the German’s decision making and therefore be in a position to plan for the likely eventuality.
In the meantime, let’s hope for a few more trophies between now and then.
