Liverpool have reportedly placed Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi ‘on their radar’ ahead of a potential swoop.
The 19-year-old German looks to be the next off the production line in Austria following in the footsteps of Erling Haaland and Patson Daka.
Born in Munich, Adeyemi has also attracted interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich after a superb start to the new season.
That’s according to a report from reputable German outlet Bild, as cited by LFC Transfer Room on Twitter, claiming that the Reds are keen on the wonderkid.
Having scored on a senior debut for Germany against Armenia, the young forward has caught the eye of many across Europe and could be set for a big-money move next summer.
Last season, Adeyemi scored seven times and registered nine assists in 29 Austrian Bundesliga appearances.
This term, however, the starlet once described as a ‘jewel’, has netted six times in the opening six league outings.

Valued at £18million and under contract until 2024 (Transfermarkt), signing Adeyemi for the mooted £20million would be a bargain deal.
Capable of playing on either wing as well as a centre-forward, the teenage German attacker has all the attributes to thrive in a Jurgen Klopp led side.
As the Reds begin to think about the future and who could succeed Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, winning the race for Adeyemi would be a superb place to start.
