Liverpool are once again been touted with a move for Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio.
The Reds were initially linked with the 25-year-old during the summer and the speculation has recently resurfaced.
This comes as the Spaniard has endured a slow start to the 2021/22 campaign under former Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti.
According to a report from Spanish publication ABC, as cited by Liverpool FC News on Twitter, Liverpool remain keen on Asensio.
The report claims that the 26-cap Spain ace ‘is not comfortable’ with the lack of game time at Madrid, leading to the Anfield club, Juventus and AC Milan ‘weighing up the opportunity’.
Often on the periphery of matters at the Bernabeu, Asensio’s only goals this season came in a hat-trick against Mallorca.

Signing attacking reinforcements is viewed upon as among the next phase of priorities for Jurgen Klopp’s squad as the likes of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino face uncertain futures.
Offering impressive versatility, Asensio certainly possesses the quality and experience to prove a worthwhile addition on Merseyside.
Valued at £31.5million and under contract until 2023 (Transfermarkt), the report claims that the serial trophy winner ‘must be transferred or renewed’ next summer.
