Liverpool striker Divock Origi could be set for a final four months to remember on Merseyside as the 2021/22 campaign enters its business end.
The Reds are still in contention for all four trophies and the Belgian star seems almost certain to play a role in one way or another.
So often the man for the big occasion, the 26-year-old returned to action against Norwich City over the weekend following a spell sidelined through injury.

The enigmatic Belgian’s return is a timely one as both Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino picked up knocks ahead of the upcoming Carabao Cup final, FA Cup fifth round and UEFA Champions League second leg.
Out of contract at the end of the season (Transfermarkt), Origi is believed to need a certain number of appearances in order to trigger a 12-month contract extension at Anfield.
So far this season the beloved cult hero has scored five times and provided two assists in 11 outings.

With so many important games around the corner, Jurgen Klopp is going to need to call upon each and every player capable of making an impact between now and May.
Despite the constant goals of Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane, few players in the Klopp era have been able to step up when needed most like Origi.
Regardless of whether or not the 31-cap man can indeed earn the new deal, this could be the final months of a memorable eight-year spell on Merseyside.
But, don’t rule out at least one more dramatic late winner before the £10.8million ace leaves with a legacy firmly intact.
