Former Liverpool winger Harry Kewell has tipped current star Luis Diaz to reach a superb landmark before the end of this season.
The 25-year-old has been nothing short of a revelation since arriving on Merseyside and has already opened a goalscoring account as a Red.
Following another superb outing against Leeds United, albeit quiet on the goal and assist front, Diaz has once again been in line for praise.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, Kewell, a former left-winger himself, has suggested that the Colombian could reach 10 goals between now and May.
When you’re playing for Liverpool at the moment, you’re looking at your front line and you always want goals. They’re picking and choosing, they’ve got three or four people now that are over 10 goals. It won’t be long until Luis Diaz is in double figures – probably this season. They’re looking good and I wouldn’t want to be playing Liverpool any time soon.
Prior to arriving at Liverpool, Diaz had scored 16 times and provided six assists in 28 appearances for FC Porto.

As things stand Jurgen Klopp’s side have 15 games remaining this term across all competitions, with the possibility of further UEFA Champions League and FA Cup fixtures to boot.
Should the £36million valued ace indeed net another nine times in that time, not only would a future star be born, but Liverpool would likely have at least one piece of silverware to show off.
At present, the Reds have the top three goalscorers and top three assist markers in the Premier League. Add the influence of an already settled Diaz to that mix and supporters can expect an exciting climax to 2021/22.
