Liverpool qualified for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals despite tasting defeat at the hands of Inter Milan.
The Reds were beaten for the first time in 12 matches across all competitions as Lautaro Martinez netted a 20 yard screamer beyond Alisson in the second half.
However, Jurgen Klopp’s side made it through to the last eight and will now wait to discover their opponents in the draw at 11am GMT on Friday, March 18.

Whilst this was a case of job done for the Reds, there were a handful of top performances on a difficult night in front of an expectant Anfield.
Marauding right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was forced to curtail some attacking ambition and instead keep a watchful eye on Ivan Perisic.
The 23-year-old was the pick of those on show with an 8.10 Sofascore rating for a display containing two clearances, two tackles, five key passes and one big chance created.
Here’s how we rated the Reds…
READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT
XI: Alisson 7; Trent Alexander-Arnold 9, Joel Matip 7, Virgil van Dijk 7, Andy Robertson 7; Fabinho 7, Thiago 6, Curtis Jones 6; Mohamed Salah 7, Sadio Mane 6, Diogo Jota 6.
Subs: Jordan Henderson 7, Naby Keita 7, Luis Diaz NA.
Whilst this was a relatively solid defensive display across the board, Alexander-Arnold was well and truly the standout.
In an attacking sense, there were big chances made and squandered – particularly by Mohamed Salah, however, the Egyptian was constantly trying to make things happen and got some joy late on dribbling beyond Alessandro Bastoni.
