Former Premier League midfielder Jamie O’Hara has labelled this current Liverpool side as ‘ruthless’ in its pursuit of silverware.
The Reds took one more step towards an unprecedented quadruple with victory over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup quarter-finals over the weekend.
That 1-0 win sets up a semi-final showdown with Manchester City in what looks set to be a make or break April for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Speaking on talkSPORT (Monday 21 March 8.20am), O’Hara suggested that Liverpool had what it takes to achieve history.
They look so good at the minute Liverpool, don’t they? They’ve got that fire in their belly that they are going to catch Manchester City. They are ruthless, ruthless!
Next month will see the Reds face City in the cup and in the Premier League as well as a clash with Benfica in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

Ruthless is a superb way of describing Liverpool in recent weeks.
Perhaps not always at their free-flowing best, Klopp’s men have been finding ways of getting what has been required, often in an ugly but no less efficient style.
Should the Reds kick back into top form following the international break, then quite frankly, anything is possible.
