Brazil vs Haiti Live Stream: How to Watch World Cup Match Online, TV Channel, Kickoff Time

Can Liverpool shot-stopper Alisson Becker keep a clean sheet for Brazil? Get live stream details, TV schedules, and team news as Carlo Ancelotti’s side meets Haiti in a must-win World Cup match in Philadelphia.

Brazil take on Haiti in their second group game at the World Cup, with Liverpool shotstopper Alisson Becker expected to remain between the sticks. The South Americans drew their opening fixture against a challenging Morocco side 2-2. If Carlo Ancelotti’s side are to advance, a win is crucial over Haiti

The African side came away looking the better of the two teams, having large periods of dominance. Morocco took the lead as Ismael Saibari chipped the ball over the Reds’ keeper. Thankfully for the five-time World Cup winners, a bit of magic from Vinicius Junior got them a point.

Haiti took on Scotland, as they lost 1-0 with a goal from Aston Villa skipper John McGinn. However, they were no pushover, battling Steve Clarke’s side in Boston.

Ancelotti received plenty of criticism for his team selection for the opening fixture. However, despite some anger surrounding Alisson, he will likely remain the number one. The scrutiny came following a decision not to utilise teenage sensation, Kendrick. Though in his press conference, reported by Goal, the Italian is set to follow his personal beliefs.

“Matheus Cunha is more of a team player; he has more characteristics of an attacking midfielder. Igor Thiago has other qualities. He is a strong player in duels and very aggressive in recovering the ball. Endrick is neither one nor the other. He is something different, for me personally. He is an extraordinary talent.”

With other influential figures also set to miss the game, this match can’t be underestimated. Brazil are one of the greatest international sides of all time, though the Liverpool keeper and his teammates could face a premature exit if they fail to get three points.

Brazil: The draw to Morocco was the first major setback they had faced under Ancelotti. Victories over Egypt and Panama ahead of the tournament filled them with belief. However, the Morocco match showed a weakness on their side. In the build-up, they have failed to beat the best teams, with a defeat to France. Haiti is a small obstacle, but they shouldn’t be underestimated.

Haiti: Defeat to Scotland means they must beat one of Brazil or Morocco to advance. While their knockout dreams may not be fulfilled, they could end someone else’s. The meeting with the Scots was far from embarrassing, as they battled with some Premier League stars. A 4-0 win over New Zealand in the warmup was the best result heading into the World Cup.

Injuries, absences, suspension

There were fears for the Liverpool keeper ahead of the first game as he returned from injury. Luckily for Alisson, he seems fit once again. One man who will fail to make the squad again is Neymar, who also missed the opener. Brazil also face some slight issues with Gabriel and Raphinha, who trained alone during periods of the week, but seem good to feature against Haiti. The North Americans will be happy to have a fully fit squad.

Predicted starting lineup

Ancelotti will utilise his 4-3-3 once again, but changes have to be made. Casemiro looked way off the pace, with former Liverpool man, Fabinho, replacing him. Instead of being a halftime sub, he may look to start the affair. Igor Thiago was also poor, with Matheus Cunha being a possible answer

For Haiti, it may well be the same as last week, and carry out a similar job. A more defensive approach will be required, though the personnal will be asked to carry out the job. Sunderland’s Wilson Isidor will be the target up top.

Brazil predicted XI (4-3-3)

Alisson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel, Santos; Fabinho, Guimaraes, Paqueta; Raphinha Vinicius, Cunha

Haiti predicted XI (4-4-2)

Placide; Arcus, Delcroix, Ade, Experience; Bellegarde, Jean, Deedson, Providence; Isidor, Pierrot

Supporters from around the world have already started writing Brazil off. They looked clunky and lacked intensity against Morocco. While the North Africans showed great signs, no one expects them to lift the World Cup. Ancelotti needs to do more to get the best out of players like Vinicius, who were living on scraps.

Alisson will likely be having a quiet evening, though when called into action, he must react. Fortunately for Brazil, Kopites have saw him do this time and time again.
