Liverpool fans love Babel’s hilarious Europa League antics

Ryan Babel was a popular figure during his time at Liverpool, scoring 22 goals in 146 appearances.

Although not always the most consistent player, he had an eye for the spectacular and scored the winning goal against Manchester United in 2008/09 – something that will endear any Reds player to the supporters.

The Dutchman departed Anfield back in 2011, going on to enjoy spells at the likes of Hoffenheim, Ajax and Deportivo La Coruna.

It was a disappointing evening for Babel and his teammates, but one moment involving the 33-year-old was arguably the highlight of the night in the Europa League.
