Trent Alexander-Arnold has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for December.
The 21-year-old has continued to cement his status as the world’s best right-back, following a string of influential performances.
Alexander-Arnold’s best display came at Leicester City on Boxing Day, when he scored once and assisted twice, in one of the finest individual showings of the season.
He earned a further assist during the month and was also part of a Liverpool defence that kept four clean-sheets.
Alexander-Arnold is on an eight-name shortlist that also includes Emiliano Buendia, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Kevin De Bruyne, Ben Foster, Danny Ings, Adama Traore and Jamie Vardy.

Alexander-Arnold has been outstanding for the Reds this season, showing that he has the ability to be a future world superstar.
His technical ability is second to none at the club and the influence he is having from right-back is extraordinary.
The youngster is living the dream for his boyhood team, and at 21, he should only improve in the coming years.
