Gary Neville has pinpointed Alisson as Liverpool’s key man in their Premier League title bid.
The 26-year-old has made a fantastic start to life with the Reds, conceding just six goals in 16 league games.
His presence between the sticks has been vital in Jurgen Klopp’s side topping the table and Neville has been as impressed as anyone.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, the former Manchester United man said he is Liverpool’s key player:

Alisson has saved Liverpool on numerous occasion this season; earned them big points.
Great goalkeepers win you point after point after point after point. You don’t always notice it. So is Van Dijk the biggest impact on that team? No it’s not.
Look at the stats: 86% save ratio – the highest in the league. Last season it was 64% (ranked 19th).
Yes, the two young lads alongside Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez are fantastic – and I love watching them play – but for me it’s the goalkeeper [Alisson] who has made all the difference and makes them genuine contenders.

It is hard to argue with Neville, although Virgil van Dijk’s influence is also enormous, as well as a number of attacking stars, most notably Mohamed Salah.
Alisson is comfortably the best goalkeeper Liverpool have had since the peak years of Pepe Reina’s time at the club and it is making a huge difference.
The Brazil international will come up against Neville’s former club United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, in another test of his credentials.
