Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has placed importance on keeping his concentration in games this season.
The shot-stopper says that he has to be constantly focused as the ball rarely goes near him during games.
Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk have been in superb form in front of him this season, which has meant that Alisson has often had little to do in matches.
Speaking to The Liverpool Echo, Alisson said this:
One thing that is important here is the concentration and focus. They are asking me to be really mentally strong.
My team have a really great defence so it is not often the ball comes near my net.
But I have one or two opportunities to show my quality, so I need to be focused all the time.
Alisson joined Liverpool from Roma in the summer and has impressed between the sticks.
His only major error so far came against Leicester, when he was tackled by Kelechi Iheanacho whilst trying to be too clever with the ball – leading to Rachid Ghezzal’s goal.
