Bayern Munich don’t believe Liverpool will be willing to spend more than €100 million on Kai Havertz, according to Sport Bild, as translated by Sport Witness.
The Bayer Leverkusen star has had another impressive season, scoring six goals and registering five assists in the Bundesliga.
A host of top clubs could be interested in Havertz if he becomes available this summer, with Liverpool one of those to be linked.
Bayern reportedly think the Reds may be willing to walk away from a club-record deal, however, giving them an easier path to sign him.

I personally believe Liverpool could be the perfect destination for Havertz next season, even though the lure of playing for Bayern is understandable.
In Jurgen Klopp, the 20-year-old would have the chance to work under arguably the world’s top manager currently – the fact that he is also German is an added bonus.
There are few, if any, players of Havertz’s ilk in Liverpool’s midfield, too, showing why he could be such an invaluable addition. Individuals such as Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner are brilliant in terms of their industry, but they are occasionally lacking magic in the final third.
Havertz has the potential to bring exactly that, with his creativity highlighted by 13 assists over the past two seasons, not to mention an average of 2.7 key passes per game in the Europa League in 2019/20.
