Liverpool’s Sheyi Ojo has been urged to leave the club on a permanent basis by former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent.
Ojo is currently on loan to Scottish Premiership title challengers Rangers under the management of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

The winger has been an important figure for the club so far this season and Bent believes if he wants to move forward in his career, then he has to leave Anfield fo good.
As quoted on Football Insider, Bent said:
Loans are about game time and if you’re getting sent here, there and everywhere, you going to have to impress consistently.
You have to stand up and be counted, for some people it takes a couple of loans and it works out for them, look at Tammy Abraham.
When you keep going on loan, it can upset you a bit as you can never settle, as you’re always thinking ‘Where will I be next season?’
And I think it won’t do you any favours, so I think at some stage Ojo is going to have to leave Liverpool, go somewhere, it might be the Championship, it might be Scottish football, sign permanently and make a career from there.

It seems like Ojo may never get a chance in the first team at Liverpool, especially with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane around.
The Reds have also signed Takumi Minamino and are heavily linked with a move for another attacker, so Ojo’s chances of breaking in are looking slim.
Bent is right. Ojo needs to find a new home where he can settle down and kick on from there, rather than being at a new club every season.
