Benteke footage shows extent of smoke

Liverpool managed to get past an in-form Villareal last night as they took the tie 3-1 on aggregate.

A solid and impressive performance by the Reds led to a 3-0 victory at Anfield, a result befitting of their dominance within the 90 minutes.

That was enough to overturn the 1-0 loss suffered in Spain last week.

Before the game, given its magnitude, Liverpool fans lined the streets to greet the two team buses as they made the journey to the ground.

Some remarkable scenes were seen from footage both in the team bus and outside of it.

Christian Benteke himself managed to get some video of the red smoke screen that surrounded the team bus.

There was also a number of fantastic images on show as the fans made their usual effort to fill the streets and start the match atmosphere before the game began.

Jurgen Klopp’s side now head to Basel for the Europa League final, where many more fans than the allocated 10,000 are expected to travel.
