Rhian Brewster will undergo a medical at Swansea City on Tuesday, before completing a loan move to the Championship club.
That’s according to Wales Online‘s Ian Mitchelmore on Twitter, who says the deal should be done ‘within the next 24 hours’.
Brewster has been linked with a temporary Liverpool exit for some time now, with the likes of Leeds United and Stoke City also tipped to sign him.
The 19-year-old has only managed three appearances for the Reds this season, highlighting his lack of first-team opportunities.
A move to Swansea will see Brewster work alongside manager Steve Cooper, who was in charge of England’s Under-17s for their World Cup win in 2017, when Brewster won the Golden Boot.

This is a move that makes perfect sense for the striker, allowing him regular action and letting him mature as a player.
Championship football will be a good test for him physically and he will benefit from dropping down a level for a short stint.
Brewster has the calmness in front of goal and all-round quality to be a big success at Swansea, helping their Championship promotion push.
Should he avoid injuries and get a good run in the side, he will be primed to play more of a starring role for Liverpool next season.
